The E-VID Video Camera is the perfect video camera for instruction,
documentation, and microscopy. Attach it to your microscope or use
it alone as a macro view instrument. The E-VID produces sharp images independent
of any other device. The high resolution images can be displayed on a Television,
a Personal Computer (with a video capture board), recorded by VCR, and connected
to other multimedia equipment such as video projectors.

Computer Video Capture:
YES! The eVid may be used to capture motion
 and
still images on your computer.
You'll need a video capture board and you'll be all set.
If your computer has a "Video Capture Card" that can accept composite video
input from a RCA style jack (most all can), then you are all set.
Otherwise, we have the "EZ Capture card" available for Windows XP+ systems.
The card comes with driver files which allow you to capture motion and still
pictures. We also have a USB 2.0 Adapter into which the eVid can be
plugged, and then the adapter into your computer. Both support up to
720x480 resolution.

Gooseneck Stand
The Gooseneck option allows versatility by providing a heavy, stable base,
flexible neck, and holder for your eVid Camera. With it, the camera can be
mounted for use without a microscope, allowing regular use as a video camera,
permitting the camera display of small objects on a television screen and
more. The camera is held to stand with thumbscrews, and is removable
for use with your microscope.
