The M2 & M5 Lab Microscopes are our top of the line compound microscopes, built with the future in mind.  Because its frame is constructed on state of the art CNC computer controlled equipment, these scopes maintain perfect alignment and upgradeability for years to come.

Extra wide 10x/20mm high point eyepieces on a wide 30mm eye tube can be used with or without corrective eyewear, making it ideal for busy professionals.

Self-adjusting electronics automatically determine the power source - from 90 to 240v, 50 to 60 hz, and compensate, always feeding the proper power to the lighting system.

Our M2 & M5 microscopes come standard with Koehler (Köhler) illumination, which provides consistent, even lighting across the specimen, free of image distorting glare and hot spots.

This fine instrument comes standard with Plan Achromatic objectives providing a flat field, abberation free field of view, and has been the choice of Medical professionals, laboratories, researchers, pathologists, and professionals in a wide variety of scientific disciplines.

With optional accessories, the M2 & M5 are able to perform intricate and varied applications such as phase contrast and darkfield with a simple upgrade kit.

The M5 is identical to the M2, except it has a five position nosepiece with an additional objective, 20x.

Optics

• Built in Mechanical stage (150 x 135mm) has coaxial drive controls, with a range of traverse of 76mm x 50mm, and etched vernier scales

• Accommodates slides up to 3 x 2 inches... or two 3 x 1 at once

• Traverse of mechanical stage actually allows examination of the entire slide, from corner to corner

Focus

• Coarse and fine focus adjustments with focusing limit control, 1.5 cm range of adjustment, fine adjustment graduation of 2um

Lighting

• The LED lighting is rheostat controlled for full range of brightness control

• Koehler illumination, which provides consistent, glare free lighting across the field of view, up to 25% brighter than scopes without it
