The Revelation III professional binocular laboratory microscope is well suited for academic, research, and professional environments.  Equipped for performance, its features include titanium finished achromatic optics (Plan optics at additional cost) and a 30 year anti-fungal coating.  In addition to the standard halogen lighting, a mirror and attachment base are included for field use where electricity is unavailable.  The Revelation III is the choice for superior performance at a great value.

Binocular Head

• High Quality 10x wide field coated to eliminate reflection. 16x also included at no additional charge.

• Diopter adjustment, allowing adjustment to your exact needs

• Interpupillary distance adjustment (Range 55 to 75mm)

• Seidentopf Binocular head is inclined 30 degrees for ease of use and rotates full 360 degrees

Construction

• The Revelation III is constructed of a rugged alloy, and finished with an acid and reagent resistant coating, with 30 year anti-fungal coating on all lenses

Objectives

• Four, flat field, achromatic, DIN objectives: 4x (NA .10), 10x (NA .25), 40xr (NA .65), 100xr (NA 1.25 - Oil)  ("xr" indicates that the lens is retractable)

• Objectives are mounted in a ball bearing quadruple nosepiece for a lifetime of trouble-free use

• Titanium finish

• Parcentered and Parfocal

• The objectives can be upgraded to Plan at the time you order your scope.

Stage

• Built in Mechanical stage (140 x 140mm) has coaxial drive controls (Lateral and forward/reverse positioning).  Range of traverse is 73mm x 43mm, can accommodate up to 3" x 2" slides.

• Stage locking lever protects slides and objectives

Focus Controls

• Coarse and fine focus adjustments with focusing limit control. Coarse adjustment range of 15mm, fine adjustment has graduation of 2um.

• Tension control knobs permit easy adjustment of focus controls

• The precision focus system based on all metal rack and pinion gearing system for long, maintenance free life. (Many lesser scopes use nylon or plastic gears.)

Illumination

• The 20 watt halogen lamp is rheostat controlled for full range of brightness control (0 - 20 watts). 110 volt lighting system, user switchable to 220v.

• "Infinitely" adjustable iris diaphragm

• Filter holder and two filters (blue and green)

• Rack and pinion adjustable Abbe condenser (NA 1.25)

• Mirror and attachment base included for field use

• Two extra replacement fuses (0.5 amp) included

• Considering the four included objectives and two pairs of eyepieces, the Revelation III achieves eight magnifications:
     40x, 64x, 100x, 160x, 400x, 640x, 1000x, and 1600x.

Optional Equipment:

• Trinocular head provides a third eyepiece out of the top of the head.  Can be used by a second viewer or for a camera mount.

• Soft Carry Case (Trinocular Head model will not fit inside)

• Darkfield Condenser (works with 4x, 10x, 40x objectives)

• Medical Students: an Eyepiece Pointer can be added on request at no charge
